I don't see how it couldn't be...with MSN and Yahoo messenger, it seems like it would be the easiest way imaginable to make money.

I'm almost to the point of only playing in meaningful tourneys where you are sat randomly and moved around. Offshore is pretty much the Wild Wild West right now and scammers don't fear reprecussions if they do cheat. You also have to contend with house players, bots from both end of the counter (yes I do believe some books/pokerrooms use bots to generate action) and many other advantages that could be working against you. I just recently played at a unnamed pokerroom and earlier was dealt the same cards back to back twice?? I was thinking randon number generator my ass LOL. Sit and go are funny too. People are out of their minds if they don't think people aren't working as team at sit n' go's. I see a lot of the raise fold players and you know they aren't bluffing. I am starting to feel a mistrust towards pokerrooms the saem as I feel towards online casinos. People would think why would a casino scam if they have the house advantage and are guaranteed a profit if run properly. I take that logic when viewing online poker now, sometimes the rake isn't enough especially when they know they can get away with it. I would really like to see the US govt' make a stance on online poker (supporting it that is) and regulating it.

Sorry man but recently seeing the crap that is happening offshore lately, I have less trust in these offshore operators. Deep down I wish there was some way that the reputable books could band together and get rid of these shady operators and I would feel a lot better but it's not going to happen. Playing at most places that have casinos and pokerrooms is equivalent to you and I playing "what hand do I have the coin" in over the phone or IM for money. The great about betting sports is there's always a third party to determine the outcome

I'm with you. If there were some that would go strictly honest, cut their profit margins and steadfastly use 'fair' expectations/games, they would win the war, but they all are doing as you say and making abnormal profits unfairly.

But if you think our government involving itself would help us in the end, then I again will cry some more. All their involvment would do is to ruin sports wagering. But you could play the lottery online!! tulsa

There is just as much collusion in brick and mortar gambling places. All it takes is for 2 or 3 people to get together. If a guy has a bad hand he lays his cards down one way. He lays them down another way if he has a good hand.
